About Us

Go Beyond Freediving is a Trinidad and Tobago based freediving academy offering pool training, ocean sessions, certification courses, snorkeling experiences and spearfishing training.

Our purpose

We work with complete beginners, confident swimmers, ocean lovers, spearfishers and anyone who wants to build a stronger connection with the water.

Our goal is simple: help people feel calm, capable and safe in the ocean.

Our approach

We believe freediving should feel welcoming, not intimidating. Our sessions help students slow down, understand their breath, build trust in their body and learn proper safety habits from the beginning.

Our founder

Go Beyond Freediving was founded by Jevaughn Ballington, also known as Ace. Jevaughn is the male national record holder across multiple freediving disciplines and a certified freediving instructor.

His background includes freediving, spearfishing, swim coaching, emergency medical training, first aid instruction and years of experience in Trinidad and Tobago’s waters.

Association membership

Go Beyond Freediving is a proud member of the Trinidad and Tobago Freediving Association. Jevaughn Ballington and Ezaaz Mohammed are founding directors of the association.
